Italian Grilled Shrimp Scampi

Recipe Ingredients

  • 2 Bags of our Organic Wonder shrimps Ez-Peel Raw
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • fresh ground black pepper
  • juice of 1 or 2 limes
  • Garlic Butter
Put Organic Wonder shrimp in bowl with remaining ingredients. Stir well to coat. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours. Push onto skewers and grill shrimp 6 inches from heat over a low charcoal fire. Turn frequently. Takes about 15 minutes. Serve skewered shrimp scampi with garlic butter (see recipe below).

Garlic Butter

  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, mashed
  • salt to taste

Mix all ingredients well and serve in saucers as a dip for grilled campi.

 

Spicy Shrimp

Also known as barbecued shrimp, this recipe is packed with flavor.

  • 1/2 Bag of our Organic Wonder shrimps P&D Tail/Off Raw
  • 1/3 cup butter (5 to 6 tablespoons)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons spicy barbecue sauce
  • 1 bay leaf 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried leaf basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper or more to taste
In a large skillet, heat the oil and butter until butter melts. Add Organic Wonder shrimp; sauté until shrimp begins to turn pink. Add remaining ingredients; stir to mix well. Simmer, stirring frequently, over low heat, about 3 to 4 minutes. Remove from heat, cover, and let stand for 5 minutes. Remove garlic and spoon shrimp into a serving dish; pour sauce over the shrimp. Barbecued Shrimp Recipe serves 4.
 

Shrimp Jimbalaya

  • 1 Bag of our Organic Wonder shrimps P&D Tai/Off Raw
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 1 cup raw rice
  • 1/3 cup chopped ham (optional)
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 clove garlic, crushed
Heat the oil in a heavy pan. Add raw rice and garlic. Fry, stirring constantly, until rice is deep golden brown. Add 4 cups water, ham, Organic Wonder shrimps and tomatoes. Stir once, bring to boil, stir again, cover and then cook without stirring over low heat for 30 minutes. 
 

Shrimp with Thousand Island Dressing

  • 1 Bag of our Organic Wonder shrimps P&D Tail/On Cooked
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp chopped green pepper
  • 1 tbsp chopped red pepper
  • 1 tbsp chopped chives
  • 1 cooked egg, finely chopped
Blend ingredients (excluding shrimps) thoroughly. Chill. Serve on lettuce wedges and decorate with the Organic Wonder shrimps.
